iotcomms.io, provider of a platform for mission-critical communication services, announces today an agreement with Telia Company. iotcomms.io will power Telia’s Enterprise Contact Center platform Telia ACE with cloud-based recording services.
Cloud technology has revolutionized every aspect of modern business and contact centers are no exception. Telia Company’s cloud contact center Telia ACE is a platform for seamless customer meetings and smart conversations. The platform was included as part of Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for contact centers in 2019, with modern functions such as Chatbot, live video and smart FAQ.
As Telia identified the need to modernize the call recording service, iotcomms.io was chosen as a vendor. With iotcomms.io, Telia is able to provide a modern, secure and stable cloud-based recording solution to all its customers in Europe.
Telia ACE new recording service is based on iotcomms.io’s Call recording as a function and is built utilizing the power of public cloud infrastructure. It is delivered as a serverless SaaS function and is integrated into the Telia ACE platform.

The recording function from iotcomms.io, where we can easily integrate their recording APIs into Telia ACE, enables us to be fast to market, with a solution that scales both in size and internationally. Their modern cloud and serverless platform is exactly what we were looking for.
Call recording as a function enables contact center providers to migrate from monolithic call recording platforms, to the cloud and modern software architecture. By using SIPRec as a protocol to interface the communication platforms, the recording service can be deployed in the public cloud.
