With the onset of Covid-19 the need for caregivers to provide services to elderly users in a safe and secure manner has rapidly increased. Phoniro has identified remote video visits as a strategy to limit coronavirus exposure and mobilized to quickly build the new solution powered by iotcomms.io’s scalable and secure cloud platform.
iotcomms.io will integrate with Phoniro’s platform “Phoniro Care” and establish video communication between the user’s tablet and the caregiver’s web application. All communication will be encrypted to ensure strongest possible security.
The new service from Phoniro is based on iotcomms.io’s WebRTC gateway functionality and is built utilizing the power of public cloud infrastructure. The function provides WebRTC technology which enables video communication over a web browser, without the need of any local software, hardware or servers.
By choosing iotcomms.io’s out-of-the-box functions for video communication, Phoniro has been able to move fast and reach the market in short time.
