How SCAIP to SIA conversion works

SCAIP device sends alarm and status information over IP to iotcomms.io’s Alarmbridge Service, which maps it to SIA-DCS and forwards it to an ARC platform.

Alarm and status events

A SCAIP controller sends alarm events over IP. Alarmbridge converts the incoming information into a common internal event format, maps it to SIA-DCS and delivers the resulting event to your configured ARC destination.
SCAIP and SIA-DCS use different event structures. Alarmbridge applies transformation rules to map relevant controller and device identifiers, device information and status codes to SIA-DCS fields.
Not all SCAIP fields have a direct SIA-DCS equivalent. The information delivered depends on the applicable mapping rules.
