1.Car is involved in an accident which is reported to the emergency platform using IP based e-call

2.Emergency platform sends event to car to trigger voice call to be established from car to emergency center

3.Car establish SIP or GSM call with IOT comms platform which place call on queue until and agent is available. Emergency platform get notified with event when call is
placed on queue.

4.When there is an available agent emergency platform send event to IOT comms platform to connect call from queue with agent

Connected Buildings

Connecting smart building drives the need for scalable real time communication services to connect devices with persons. For example surveillance, entry and intercom solutions. For example:

    Connected Telecare enables telecare applications by connecting telecare devices and alarm centers. The SCAIP/CENELEC, SIP or PSTN interfaces combined with the event based APIS provide real-time communication capabilities to alarm platforms.

    2. Unit trigger alarm to health care platform which dispatch this to care agent

    3-4. Care agent trigger a voice call over GSM or VoIP as a call-in or call back to alarm center

    The IOT communications  platform receive the voice call and  associate it with the original alarm event to allow the care agent to get alarm meta data in conjunction with the call.

    IOT Devices with video and WebRTC

    This video demonstrates an alarm application deployed on a Raspberry Pi using the real time video SDK and APIs that securely connects with a WebRTC browser via the platform when the alarm button is pressed. This allow an operator to see the surveillance video from the attached camera.

    Connected machinery

    This use case improves efficiency by avoiding sending a human to false alarms. If a connected machine generates an alarm a human may establish a real time audio and video connection to assess the situation before spending time to get there in person.

    A use case example is:

    1. Machinery in manufacturing plant reports values exceeding thresholds via MQTT which trigger alarm to operator.

    2. Operator trigger a video call via the IOT communication APIs to be established with the integrated video surveillance camera in the machine to allow to see and hear the state of the alarming machinery.

    The IOT Communications platform allow the monitoring platform to easily connect video call with the alarming device using the MQTT API and associate the call with the corresponding alarm for display to the operator
